Within 24 hours, and usually the same day. Evenings are when sessions run, so a call at 6pm on a Monday will go to voicemail — leave a message or send an email and you will hear back. If something is urgent on the night of a session, text rather than ring.

Send us your child's date of birth and we will tell you which group they belong in — that is faster than working it out from a menu, and the FA age bands run from 31 August rather than from a school year, which catches most people out. If you would rather look yourself, the Programmes menu has the weekly academy centres, futsal, and the MJPL and JPL squads, and every centre page carries its own timetable.

At the weekly academy centres and at futsal, yes — one full session, free, with nothing to pay until you have decided. The MJPL and JPL squads work differently: those are trials rather than tasters, they run over two weeks, and a place has to be open in that age group before we can offer one. The squads page says which age groups have places today.

Leicestershire. Kirby Muxloe FC is our main base and runs on Monday evenings, and Earl Shilton opens in September on Friday evenings — both are listed with addresses in Our Centres above. Futsal is a separate programme and runs on Tuesday evenings indoors at two schools: The Martin High School, Link Road, Anstey LE7 7EB, and Brockington College, Blaby Road, Enderby LE19 4AQ.

You are welcome to, and parents are welcome to stay for the whole session — but you will get more out of the first taster being free than out of watching from the side. Your child gets a proper look at the group and the coaching, and you still pay nothing until you have decided. Come to a session, bring shin pads, and see what you think.
